Do you sell tickets?

Accepted Answer

No. We work out how the journey can be made and what each way costs, then send you to IRCTC, the airline or the bus operator to book. We never take a payment.

Why is your route longer than the one I saw elsewhere?

Usually because the shorter one is not real. Mapping apps will happily draw a line between two airports with no flight between them, or a road that is closed for the season. Where the fast option does not exist we show the honest long way round instead.

Why is there no flight for my route?

Accepted Answer

Because no airline flies it non-stop, and connecting through a hub would take longer than the train. Most pairs of small Indian airports have no service between them — that is normal, not a gap in our data.

Are the prices what I will actually pay?

Accepted Answer

They are honest estimates, not quotes. Fares move with the season, the class and how far ahead you book. Use them to compare routes against each other, then check the live price on the operator’s site.

Can I plan from a small village?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Type any town in India, even one with no station of its own — we will find the railheads and airports near it and include the road to get there, rather than quietly pretending you start at the nearest city.

How do I know which parts to trust?

Accepted Answer

Every leg says where its numbers came from. Trains name the train. Road legs say when a time is an estimate. Anything above the roadhead should be confirmed with a local guide before you go.
